About DONNMARIE

DONNMARIE is a quality activewear for women. It started from my passion for fitness, becoming more conscious about my health and well-being and just a desire to achieve a more fulfilled and active lifestyle.

I remember always wanting to start a clothing line for girls and when that did not materialize I wanted to open a day spa for wellness. But life happens and was becoming a routine as some of you can relate. I knew something had to change in order for me to start living a more fulfilled life, but I just didn’t know where to start and I would often ask myself ‘If Not Now, Then When?’

After much self-reflection I discovered that there is no time like the present and decided to take a leap of faith. I was raised by my grandmother who was a seamstress. She made all my clothing and sewed for most of the women in the neighborhood. So, even though I did not like sewing when I was growing up, I realize that fashion is a part of who I was from an early age.

It is important for us to stay active in whatever way we can; be it walking, running, jogging, working out or training in the gym, engaging in some type of sports, or playing tennis (as I love to do); anything to enhance an active lifestyle and improve our mental health is deemed necessary. Being active is at the core of who we are hence, my daughter named us and rightfully so the “Fit Fam”. 

Our team has come to realize that while looking good is not the only way to feel good, it certainly helps. So, with that in mind we came up with a plan to offer more comfort while doing what we love. DONNMARIE activewear is here to help you look and feel your best while you do what you love.
